The Trauma Training Plan is a practical guidance tool. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Transforming Psychological Trauma Knowledge & Skills Framework to support all organisations in Scotland to develop their workers to understand the impact of trauma on people’s lives and be trauma responsive.

As part of the National Trauma Training Programme, a small number of volunteers from older adult care homes across Scotland took part in a short trial to explore how a peer support learning approach could facilitate shared learning and reflections in relation to embedding trauma-informed practice in their services.
